Acceptable use

A match video shows people who did not upload it. Before you upload a recording of somebody else, you need their agreement. This is the most important rule on this page.

Adults

• Tell them you are recording, and what for.
• Get their agreement before you upload. Spoken is enough between a coach and a player who train together; written is better for anyone else.
• Tell them who will be able to watch it.
• Stop if they ask you to. Agreement can be withdrawn, and withdrawing it must be as easy as giving it.

Players under 18

• Get the agreement of a parent or guardian, in writing, before you record. A club consent form covering video analysis satisfies this.
• Ask the young player as well, in words they understand. A parent's agreement does not override a child's clear objection.
• Keep the video private. Do not create a public share link for a video of a minor.
• Delete it when the training purpose ends.

Where you film

• Follow the rules of the club, the venue, or the tournament. Many forbid recording without permission.
• Point the camera at the court. Avoid filming spectators, other courts, and the people passing behind them.
• Never film in a changing room, a toilet, or anywhere a person expects to be unobserved. This is a criminal offence in Germany under § 201a StGB, and in most other countries.

If somebody in a video you uploaded objects, act on it. Delete the video, or write to privacy@tencoline.com and we will.

• Anything you have no right to upload, including video somebody else recorded, and broadcast footage of a professional match.
• Any recording made without the agreement described above.
• Anything sexual involving a minor. We report this to the authorities without exception, and we preserve the evidence.
• Anything filmed secretly in a place where a person expects privacy.
• Content that threatens, harasses, defames or humiliates a person.
• Content that is unlawful in Germany or in the country you upload from.
• Malware, or a file crafted to attack the people who open it or the systems that process it.

Tencoline is for tennis video. Using the storage for unrelated files — a media library, a backup, a file drop — is not what the quota is for and we may remove them.

• Do not try to reach a video, an account or an administration page that is not yours.
• Do not probe, scan or test the security of the service without written permission. To report a problem you found, see below.
• Do not scrape the site, or use an automated client against it beyond the published interface.
• Do not deliberately overload the service, or work around the upload quota.
• Do not share your account, or resell access to it.
• Do not pass a share link on to somebody the video owner did not intend to see it.
• Do not remove or work around a technical restriction in the application.

privacy@tencoline.com. We act on this quickly, and we tell the account that uploaded it.

Something that infringes your copyright

A security vulnerability

security@tencoline.com. Report it privately, give us reasonable time to fix it, and do not access other people's data while proving it. We will not take legal action against a report made in good faith on those terms.

What we do depends on what happened. Usually we contact you first and ask you to fix it. We can also remove the content, restrict the account, or close it.

We act immediately, without asking first, where a delay would cause serious harm: content that is criminal, a recording of a child made without agreement, or an attack on the service.

You will always be told what we did and why, and you can object. Write to abuse@tencoline.com. A person reviews the objection, and if we got it wrong we put it back. The full procedure is in the terms of service.
